We hate to use the pun (not really) but this film really was a joy to watch. Everything from the cast to the crew made this a pleasure to watch.
Jennifer Lawrence is superb. She plays Joy Mangano, a self made millionaire who made her fortune by inventing the 'miricle mop'. Set in the early 1990's this 'rags to riches' story has a supporting cast that any film maker would want to work with. From Robert DeNiro to Bradley Cooper you really are spoilt for choice.
If I were to highlight a negative of the film, and I don't want to, it would be that the last third lacks the humour and pace of the previous two thirds. I felt like you could shave 20 minutes off and still not feel like you have been cheated.
